Each post is a question from a journal jar. Every comment journals and shares. Welcome.
How This Works
This blog idea comes from a concept that I think is pretty cool.
Journal jars are jars that have little slips of paper in them. Each slip of paper is a question or journal prompt that gets you thinking about and writing about yourself. It's a fun way to journal!
Every post on this blog is a journal jar prompt. Use the comments to journal your story (or, for the more private people or particular posts, write them in a journal)! This way, we all journal. We all learn. A little bit of daily, quiet thought. Welcome.
My parents got married to each other even though it was an arranged marriage. My parents got married even though they're cousins (tee hee--it's great fun to tell people this after they pontificate about cousins marrying cousins and the potential for genetic defects--I like telling them that I have a 3rd arm tucked into the back of my pants). My mom pretty much had to marry my dad or never, under the threat of my grandmother, date in this country again. My mom acted as a "human passport" to get him here. My parents managed to even like each other despite all this. They're coming up on their 50th wedding anniversary. Congratulations, Mom and Dad! :)
