Who supports your growth?

My husband comes immediately to mind. There's no question in my mind AT ALL about this--he supports my growth completely and always and we've grown and continue to grow as a couple in ways that go beyond my wildest dreams--we're so so very grateful!!

Who supports my growth? Hmmmm, our children certainly do. They love me through my growth and I have such respect and love for them for that and much, much more.

My closest friends do. You know the kind. The ones who can tell by your voice (or email!) what kind of a day you're having and where you are on the spectrum of stress and excitement. And the ones who are right there for you without judgment but with honesty and love and encouragment. Yeah, that kind. How can you NOT grow with friends like that?

My parents--they encourage and support us in what we do (even with the seemingly crazy) and have always allowed a great deal of freedom infused with trust. I'm grateful for that. It's helped me be the person I am.

Close family friends--the kind that are like family. They show through their VERY generous deeds and actions and words how much they support us--we feel looked out for and loved and blessed. We are very grateful.

I would have to say, without a doubt, my wife is my #1 supporter. She has always shown complete confidence in me and encouraged me to achieve all that I can. More than anything she shows me an unconditional love that builds my confidence and gives me the strength to carry on, even in the face of adversity.

Our children also support my growth. They put up with a lot of craziness, all in the name of making a better life for our family. It is incredible to see what two children can do to support two parents!

My own parents have always shown confidence in me and encouraged me to accomplish my goals. And there are always the close friends that act as a sounding board as I/we "go for it." Thank you to all of them.
